V9 black edition newegg

Having a second side panel that opens is definately nice when it comes to cable management. If you use a modular power supply while taking advantage of the back side panel, there is no reason you should have a jungle of cords visable through the side window. Nice warm glow of color from the LED's too. Cons: Well, there is no mobo tray, but at this price I would not want them to compromise what they have here just to add in a cheap tray. Overall Review: I bought this for a new computer i was building for my parents.

They had an old dell small case compared to this beast , and have so far found that this case is meeting their needs just fine. As the installer I would have to say that it meets all functionality requirements for a mid-range case. It's got expansion room based on mobo of course , plenty of ventilation keeps my graphics card at a constant 38 degrees and style.

Cons: Where to start. First annoyance was that every single tab holding the top on was broken off in the box super glue to the rescue. The plastic parts top assembly and front are very, very brittle taking out the 5.

Thin metal. You have to be very gentle when breaking the tabs of the slot covers off or you will bend up the surrounding metal. Also kinda weird is that the hard drive cage spans the width of the case so u have to run cable up and over thru a ext. Overall Review: can't really call it a con as bottom mounting the psu is an excellent idea but short cpu power cables look messy stretched tight over the board.

Tool less features don't work well my wd raptor sounded like it was gonna rattle out the bay and 5. Cons: The top fan alignment was bad and blades kept hitting the edges. I had to turn it off permanently. After three months the rear fan has stopped working. Closer look shows the fan is really bad quality, no wonder it conked off in three months.

Overall Review: I purchased this case as it was selling for a discount. I got what I paid for. The case is very flimsy. It is not worth any money. Pros: good size case, just what i was looking for, long enough for a good card but not super tall like an ATX full tower.

I also called Thermaltake to see the largest video card you can put in the case without it colliding with the hard drive bays. They told me 9. So i ordered a smaller slightly less powerful video card than what i initially intended on buying. The case arrived for me to discover cards around 12'' can fit. I'm a little bit angry about that.

Thermaltake will be receiving a complaint. Pros: Its a great case overall keeps my dual x2 at 57C while gaming thats huge. My cards are hard to keep below 80C with the fans turned on 85percent.

Cons: 1. The Cable side of the case is too small its hard to hide cables back there and close the case. I wish they just changed the shape of the case like similar coolermaster cases to give cables room. Be careful of the drive connectors, the buttons sometimes pop out. I would say remove the buttons place the pins then try to turn the button because you can easily break off the back of the buttons.

Overall Review: Overall im happy with this case I bought it else where because newegg charges taxes in, TN. Pros: The major selling points for me was the all steel construction, the dual HDD docks and the price. The included fan configuration and tool-less design were also on the awesome list. Cons: Cable management was completely lost in the design phase of this case. The top drive bay is for the most part unusable as the dock occupies the majority of it.

I was also disappointed that the fans and dock didn't have a factory daisy chained power coupling. The USB loop back internal cable is an extreme annoyance. Overall Review: Here is a breakdown of the system build which went into this case. Pros: Case is sturdily constructed and has no sharp edges.

Interior is painted black and has a window to admire your wiring skills. Came with a gig Seagate Flex hard drive that can be used on the case's built in dock for sata speeds. Cons: The screwless mounting for videocards was pretty much useless for mine. I had to remove the screwless mount and install it the good old dependable way.

This is easily accomplished by removing 3 small screws on the back of the case. The screws attaching the top are poorly placed, and the clips that held the top broke easily.

Overall Review: MY fan may have simply been faulty, but from some of the reviews I've read this seems to be a rather common occurrence. I do not reccomend buying this case unless you like a challenge. I for one was not happy to try turning on my computer only to find that the fan had dropped out of place.

Unlikely that I'll buy another thermaltake case. Top of Case Does NOT seem to be Removable to replace the fan, and if it is, the plastic clips are so cheap you don't want to risk even trying to remove for Fear of Breaking. Side removable panels are Thinly Constructed and Warp Easily. Hopefully When something Advertised and Reviewed by that website like Newegg.

Be warned though that when it doesn't, and that Quality and Cheapness of a Product causes it to fail when you are trying to use it the first time, it does NOT Matter to Newegg. Pros: Looks awesome, 2 docking stations work with no problems. Came with everything I needed. Runs about 7 degrees cooler than my last case. Very quiet. Got at discount. The locking tabs didnt close correctly due to the fact that the design was up against the card body and I had to slighly force the tabs closed.

They did not break fortunately. Sold by: Newegg Shipped by Newegg. This item is currently out of stock and it may or may not be restocked. Out of Stock. Add To Wish List. Are you an E-Blast Insider? Get Educated. Coated in black from the inside to the outside, this case adds overall quality and neat looks, and the rugged construction in combination with SECC material increase the durability and reliability.

The innovative dual bay docking design allows you to swap 3. Three pre-installed fans and meshed front panel ensure excellent system cooling for superior stability and minimized slowdown. Save this w supply for your mom's machine!

Any side mounted SATA port motherboards will prove a bit cramped,as the cables will have to be mangled a bit to get in there. My CoolerMaster CPU cooler is nearly enough to provide for all air flow needed, as it is only an inch or so from the heavily vented top. Moving supplied back fan to the front to bring in air from the front. Pros: I like the fit and venting options. I fitted a Mini - ITX motherboard in this case with ease. The placement of PS at the bottom of case made the sale for me.

In this case the PS is not having all the other components' heat pulled through it. Most of my cases still use the PS as the heat vacuum. Cons: The front is clipped into place and can be broken if the assembler is not very careful. I unscrewed it to avoid damaging it. I'm waiting for a rebate card. Overall Review: The reviews about this case let me know what to expect.

Because I knew what to expect I was prepared for the sides falling off none of the hooks that always seem to get in the way , the rebate being a card not a check, and the PS being an older type. Pros: The main pro for this case is the fact that it comes with a power supply. Because of the price, this isn't a top of the line case so don't go in expecting it to be indestructible. The case is made with relatively thin metal. It will flex a bit.

The case comes with one fan and that fan is sleeved. Sidenote, pick up some more fans when you order. At least one for an intake fan, maybe a 2nd or 3rd for the top exhaust.

Another note, careful taking off the front bezel when installing the front fan you do this by squeezing the clips on the inside of the front of the case together, all the way from the bottom to the top , you can accidentally break the clips, be patient and you'll be fine. The rear "thing" that they engineered to hold in expansion cards is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen in my years of building computers, but once you figure it out it's not that big of a deal. Obviously, by looking at the pictures and the price, you'll probably figure out that cable management is non-existant in this case Which leads me to my next point, the PSU cables themselves.
