It plays and feels like an MMO. The systems are very much similar to SAO as it was created to be a prequel to the death game. Gameplay wise it's very much like ReHF except faster pace and more action sytle combat, however it still feels like an MMO not a hack and slash. With the story taking place after Lost Song, you will be at a loss as to who some of the characters are and miss some references.
Multiplayer - Open world boss fights and exploration, however unlike the first two, you must complete singleplayer to unlock alot of mutliplayer aspects. What isn't broken don't fix it right? While Lost Song was herald by the community as the worst in the series, Lost Song in Japan was actually decently recieved. Most people consider this to be the third best in the series, behind HR and Fatal Bullet.
Story also takes place after HR, however this is non-conan to the game's stories. FB makes no mention of the Accel World Characters. Mutliplayer - Very much similiar to Lost Song Personal Opinion as to what to play - ReHF, It's the first game in the series and a lot of fun if not troublesome at times.
Not only is it only Working your way through the game series is not only fun to do but also gives you an alternate story to enjoy as I blieve it's also written by Reki Kawahara.
